I just spotted this over on the rmmp newsgroup, and scanned through it.  His
premise is that BWV 924 in the Klavierbüchlein für Wilhelm Friedemann Bach
contains, in its opening bass line, a mnemonic to help young Wilhelm
remember how to tune the piano.  His arguments are very detailed (perhaps
search for "Conclusions" at first).
