I will always find it fascinating that some > people seem to > 'need' to be front and center of the class, with > personal, > non-piano-related posts that are not relevant(in > most cases) and not > tolerated by the majority of the class. If that were > me, I'd be hiding > my head in the sand hoping for forgiveness from the > rest of the class. > Probably me you're talking about here. Amazingly, I have not started an OT post in about 2 years. I tend to monitor them, and only respond when the urge to do so has built up so much pressure that not letting it out could prove injurious to my health. But, it seems, although I choose my words carefully ( and prayerfully ) almost everything I write seems to set off a barrage of controversy which wastes 200 times more email space than my comment did, and usually about how we need to stay on topic, etc.!!!!! It would be funny, if it were not so sad. I am really not addicted to posting OT stuff. But if someone thinks we need a separate list to slug out our philosophical differences in the relative safety of e-mail anonymity, I will not object. And if such a list is created and I feel the urge to be OT, that is where I will put it all. Thump __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at Yahoo!
