Dear People,
I have been asked to evaluate a GS-70 (measures 7'5") (polished ebony)
for a local church. Pierce says it would have been born in late 1994.
Condition is exceptional having sat under cover for much of its life ever since the
church has caught the latest religious craze, "Praise and Worship" music to
the tune of about $80,000 worth of sound equipment.
Anyway, can I assume (dangerous, I know) that this piano is roughly
equivalent in quality to the newer "RX" series? Larry Fine says it should be
worth roughly 65% of the retail value of today's piano. Which is fine except
Kawai doesn't make this model anymore.
I would welcome any comments concerning the value or any other pertinent
observations. Thank you in advance.
    I am,
    Most Sincerely,
Charles Cron
Nashville Associate
