       HI Paul
In a perfect world your stated policy is a great idea & I would prefer that
but The fact that the well seasoned expert input of a list contributor such
as TP should not be ignored or discounted & it is simply illogical to me to do
so.
May I suggest perhaps that some people have been so deeply wounded that
anonymity is there choice & a safe one for them even if you disagree with it.
May I also remind you all that in spite of your somewhat "contentious"
comments on the OT- TP thread, this person never lashed out or became defensive.
Just the same sage & helpful advice.
May I also suggest there are situations folks get it into that none of us
would want to trade shoes with??? I'm Speaking from personal experience,
There's been times in my own life I wanted to be anonymous.
If they were intersted in being published they'd let you know to be sure.
 Respectfully --Lighten up brethren

List:

I have been trying to find out who TP is for about a month in order to use
his name in a Q&A column for the Journal, giving him proper credit, and to seek
his permission to do so. I have gotten one response from him wondering why I
wanted his name and nothing more.

We at the Journal depend on contributors being somewhat forthcoming in this
regard; in this case, good material will just be deleted if not attribitable.
Thanks to everyone else who have been so helpful over the years.
