---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Ron, try the following: 1. Check for loose bridge pins. They don't have to be very loose to cause a problem. 2. Check the bridge for loose joints, cap and contact with soundboard. 3. Get a friend to play the piano while you check for loose soundboard, ribs etc. 4. Tighten all hardware, just in case it is a buzz from case parts, hinge. 5. Check damper wires in case they are contacting the string on a hard blow. 6. Check rim for separations. If the piano really was hit hard by the forklift it could have a pretty non traditional source for buzzing. 7. Check bottom of soundboard for loose glue. I don't know if this is a common problem with the Hamburg instruments but is very common in the NY ones. That's a start, I'm sure there are many more things that other people can think of.
