      I have the foredom.  Had it for years.  The belt, reversible =
motor, speed control and all.  Haven't used it much.  The problem is =
that the belt slips off when reversing.  That is guaranteed by the =
design.  A belt will slip to the low side of a pulley and ride to the =
high side when turning.  The pulleys need to be crowned.  Even a six =
inch belt sander is crowned in the center of the roller.  I was going to =
modify mine but I now use the turkey slicer.  I've learned how to use =
that effectively.  By handling the body I can favor either side or the =
strike point.  The body needs to be rotated and pushed side to side to =
clear the fuzz or it loads the paper and clogs.  I do use the paddle for =
finishing and more so in the treble.  Works for me.

      Anybody want to buy a foredom hardly used?
