Once the cork is affixed to the pinned-dowel installation tool a small dab of glue on the tape will help to hold it fast to the catcher. The pressure from the cork secures it until the glue dries. This way the cork is not glued in the hole and can be removed somewhat easily with only the tape glue joint to be broken. -- Regards, Jon Page
