The lower end of the tenor and the entire transition bridge lie=
 upon a common base or foundation. The base is contoured to mate=
 to the soundboard, just like the bottom of the long bridge.=
 There is no cantilever at all. Below is a picture of the bridges=
 in the piano installed on my new clear soundboard.

That board looks very nice. What is the tenor bridge sitting on?=
 From this angle it looks like a reversed cantilever.
