Unstable regulation

I just tuned and did some really minor adjustments to a "G" series YC grand
made in 1987. The only thing I noticed that may be indicative of this
problem was that I had to tilt the action up a little in order to clear the
bass hammers from the fallboard in order to remove it. Otherwise the action
was in reasonably good regulation. (The piano was last serviced about eight
months ago by a technician that has since left the area.)

How long, roughly, does it take for this action bracket swelling take to
make itself noticeable, or should I just take note and see if there is any
change when I revisit the piano in six months?

If/when this becomes a problem, who should be my first contact? Does the
store that sold it still hold any responsibility?

Nope - no idea. The first time I saw the action was when it was all jammed
up.

But basically, if you have a YC from the late 80s or early 90s and hammers
start to block - it's time to change out the brackets.
