Hi Hubert,
If their bank is close, drop in periodically, and have the bank see if there 
is enough funds in their account. When there is, cash it.
You can try every day, if you like. Up until 6 months, then it is void.
If they do not have an account at that bank, then you have grounds for 
fraud.
I have had very few over the years, most people are basically honest.
