Relax and enjoy being able to sit while tuning and (for someone over 6') not to have to bend over to tune the average upright. With a twenty degree tip you can also have the hammer close to parallel to the string you are tuning toward you rather than away from you into the grand. Sometimes they are rather deep into the pin-field and you just have to go the other way. Really, the mechanics of tuning other than mentioned above are pretty much the same. Capo bars on some cheap makes can grip (paint, filler, or soft casting) the strings in the treble pretty hard making them difficult to render. Try easing up to tune using firm test blows when you encounter this.
