S&S action question

Thanks to all for the suggestions. After tweaking a couple of notes last
night, I think I will be able to use the parts that are on it. Right now
I have the action in my home, where I have no jigs set up, but after
working with drop(screws buried), slightly raising the hammer line,
re-positioning the jack under the knuckle and lowering the jack height
in the window on just 2 notes, it almost feels like a piano action.
There's still a good bit of friction just before let-off, but without
all of my tools at my disposal, I couldn't do all the tests or measurements.

-These parts look like they were thrown on..literally.
-The hammers were poorly hung.
-the 17mil suggestion(thanks for confirming David) might cure-all, but I
still have to take measurements and weigh stuff out.
-dip is wide..key height is low - evidence of parts being thrown on.

-sorry for that rant, but it saddens me to see a nice instrument get
treated less than respectful.

The client knows that new parts may have to be purchased, even tho the
ones on it have real low miles. It is my objective to use what's there
and get it to work. I will let this list knows how it all works out.

Time to be a hero (putting on my cape!),
