What is the PSI of this unit? 50 or 75 PSI is inadequate. 125-150 PSI is more suitable and last month Sears had this portable small-tank compressor on sale for $119. Don't scrimp on tools. If you're such a neat freak, why would you even consider blowing dust all over someone's house? Besides, blowing on the dust under the strings doesn't really clean the board, you still have to push a cloth around. Two procedures which would be prudent are: to remove imbedded debris around the tuning pins (which the vac and a small brush failed to get) and to dispel moisture on the plate under the rear duplex after scrubbing with a brush and degreaser. Two oft neglected areas are bridges/strings/plate under the bass string cross-over and the top of the damper guide rail. Both can be adequately cleaned with a narrow brush with the vac held in close proximity. On an upright, the 'top-face' (side) of the bridge is a tricky place, your call. My general purpose dusting brushes are the cheapie 1" paint brushes available at your local paint purveyor. Smaller cheap artist's type are used for tighter areas such as damper guide rails, let-off rails and such. I even have a bottle-brush type stuck into the end of a long 1/4" dowel to insert the length of actions. I suppose once the bulk of the dust has been removed one could blast the remaining particles into the air to resettle elsewhere but is it really that important in someone's home? -- Regards, Jon Page
