Start at the beginning with proper specs:
key end lifter felt   1 3/8" above keybed (at rest)
under lever about 1 1/2" above keybed (at rest)

This places the sos. tab at 2 7/8", the blade tip is then adjusted to be
1/16" above that (at rest) or 2 15/16" and also set to be 1/16" into
the tab when engaged.
