False Beats / Loose pins

Hey there Victor.

I have to agree with Ron N on that point. I dont see a correlation...
and I've looked for one. Try actually checking the occurance of false
beats (again of the type that disapears when the pin is pressured with a
screwdriver or the like) against things like the presence of loose pins,
pin depth, pin size.. etc.

My experience is that the pin can be loose or not, bottomed out or
not, worn and groved or not, and there is just a likely a chance of
being a false beat as there is a clean sound. My experience is also
that CA seems to help the problem around 75-80% of the time....also
regardless of whether the pins are loose or tight, grooved or not.

Cheers

Hi Ric

I have not been on the list directly for awhile.
Might it be that they are in contact with the the bottom of the
bridge pin hole?
And maybe that the large size of the pin would not let the pin creep
up as much.

Just a thought

Best
Victor
