Hi Ric,

In response to your last paragraph, I happen to have a recording of a  
concert a friend did over at Cunningham piano (Phila, PA) on a model  
217 or 225 (not sure which one). He'd probably beat me if I posted it  
for people to listen to, but I could post a short clip for anyone  
thinking a Bosendorfer is light on power and it may encourage them to  
re-think. It was just a casual recording from a reasonable distance  
(good equipment though), but there is no doubt that it has some "guts".
