Hi Alan,

I "inherited" some of the flange shields, years ago, when buying out another
tech.  With minor modification, they make good flange *clamps* when
repairing/reglueing a split flange in the field.  Of course, this is for
those of us who carry a couple of every imaginable replacement parts, but
never have the right one.
