back action replacement questions

Ron and Gene-

I'm installing a Renner back action kit in a S&S B this week.  My first time doing this.
One of my goals is to get the system all on one axis.
The tray end blocks from Renner aren't sturdy enough for this.
I'm curious how you re-engineered these blocks.
Maybe use some of the left over laminate from the tray and re-inforce with a through bolt?
