Mic the strings to be sure that the your #14 is their #14.  The metric sizes
may be 1/2 size different.

I took the string scale from a Kawai KG2 serial #9xxxxx
that is being restrung.   Just for fun I ran the numbers
to find some astonishing results.

ie.  Note 82 is at 75% break point with 220 lb of tension,
Inharmonicity is 7.6.    The scale starts at 14 with .5
changes every 6 unisons.

The tension remains around the 200 lb range for most
of the piano.  Highest is 225 (#64) to 136 in the low tenor.

This is amazing to me.   Is this a  normal  range?
I thought tensions were usually 170 or so.
Anybody have any info that will put my mind at ease?
