I'm not familiar with "modern" Bechsteins -- the B family rather 
blotted their copy-book in England during the war and they're rather 
rare.  The latest models are very different from in 1966 too.  I 
suggested this only because you say the hammers are not original and 
Helmut Abel is best qualified to identify and make the hammers that 
were originally on it.  Whether you need the underfelted hammer, the 
assymetric moulding etc. I can't say, but he will know because he 
worked for Renner at the time.  You can contact them and ask.
