There was at least one new Knabe grand in Rochester in the Interactive Grand Regulation Classes taught by Roger Jolly and team along with several other labels from Samick which provided all the pianos for these classes. I'm not much of a technician YET (lowly Associate) but am a rather strong pianist (I.U., Juilliard) and I must say I was impressed with all of them, tone, dynamic range, action, etc. I wouldn't be afraid to recommend a Samick where budgets are tight; just make sure the set up is good.
