I would still mix it 100:1 However, it's really not that critical. The 100:1 is a guesstimate on my part.<G> BTW, for Pin Driving fluid = Phenolic Resin, (The Base for any Varnish w/o any of the additives in it. As for how long it takes .....my immediate response would be: As long as it takes.<G> However, the nice answer would be: at least 2-3 days.<G> Have fun.

Hey, Joe. Sherwin Williams has reducer by the gallon, or Xylol by the quart. The man said that the only difference was that the reducer was a greater concentration, so I bought the quart, and figured I'd mix it at about 50 to 1 with pin driving fluid. Your thoughts?
Also, how long does it take until they sink?

Thanks, Joe! Now, what the heck is synthetic reducer? and 100 parts of it to 1 part pin driving fluid? I thought that it was you, but I couldn't find it in the archives. maybe I didn't look it up right.
Regards back at you!

I get mine from Rodda Paints. It has Xolol, (sp?) in it, so use good ventilation.<G>
