On eBay, someone is selling some 'brass piano string'.  Is this perhaps
harpsichord string?  Didn't pianofortes have brass string?  

 

Maybe it's just some random brass wire completely unrelated to pianos or
harpsichords.  Anyway, here's the item number in case someone is interested:
