Texas Sales Tax Update

Hi everyone.  Just wanted to give an update on the sales tax issue.  I went
to the Comptroller's office this morning and they were surprisingly helpful.
Somehow their computer goofed and never activated my account.  This meant
that I never got a certificate/start-up packet but I DID receive their nasty
letters saying I owed them money.  Because of this, they agreed to remove
the penalties.  Now I'm good to go.

They did say that I'm supposed to itemize based on where I'm tuning (within
the city limits vs. rural) which is going to be a pain.  Hopefully I can set
it up on my Quickbooks program and make life a little simpler.

Thanks again to all who offered advice.  Hopefully I can return the favor
one of these days.
