D.C. Belly Cloth/Piano Disk ?

The cloth is installed precisely to reduce air currents. The power supply
has heat sink fins, however, which would lead me to believe that it needs
some air current to keep cool.

I can't see how the cloth would have any effect.  It's like speaker cloth,
so it won't affect the speakers (if any).

I'm more curious about conflicts with the heater rods and water tank.
