Agraffes in uprights

For the bass I don't mind them, but for the top treble I think they
would interfere with the striking point. Unsell you were thinking of
agraffes above the V-bar like some Kimballs or Mason & Risch.  On the
other hand, I so much prefer to restring a piano that has NO agraffes. I
would think the cost of production increase would outweight the benefits
if there were some.

Hi List,
 
Recently, I have been getting more pressure from the marketing folks to
design upright models with agraffes, preferably all the way up to #88.
What do  you folks think about that?
