My doble pesos... I'm an associate who hopes to become an RPT, maybe this year if I can = work things that way.=20 Even though I'm not yet an RPT, I fully support every effort to make PTG = an organization of primarily RPTs. The higher the standards, the better, = IMO. The two things that have prevented me from this have been: 1) Excessive personal debt in 2001-2003 that forced me to work more, = doing tunings and basic service. Having to service the debt load meant there = was less time for concentrated learning and improvement. Now that I'm = debt-free except the house, there is less stress and more time for learning. 2) My wife's death in Dec. 2004 and having to keep two small boys while juggling work. I took a year to be at home a lot with the kids and = worked 2-3 long days a week so I could spend the rest with them to help them = get adjusted too. Now I'm getting them in day care to have more time for = work and getting to RPT. I'm also not the most naturally mechanically minded = so I have to think through things carefully. So, I need blocks of time to sit = and think through the new stuff. I'll hopefully have that in a couple of = weeks. One thing that has made me want to upgrade has been that ptg.org lists = RPTs to the general public. Good going on that one, BTW.=20 What would be an incentive to upgrading to RPT? Here's an idea: let associates be associates, but make their fees double until they become = RPTs. Use the extra money to promote the RPT status. That would either be an incentive to stay and upgrade, or leave. John Formsma Avery wrote:=20 This subject HAS been on ptg-L. For DAYS!!!!!!!!!!
