No, that's front and back, relative to the keyboard and tail 
respectively. I don't see any reason to screw up a simple and 
obvious concept of orientation with unnecessarily obfuscatory 
nomenclature. That's what governments and school systems are 
for, so we should leave that to professionals.

You do what works for you. If reproducing what was there 
doesn't, you modify until it does to your standards. What was 
originally there is a good minimal starting point.
