Sorry, long hard day yesterday. Like I mentioned to Avery, if 
the pressure of a thumb nail won't do it, hammering won't do 
it either. Seating strings is trying to fix a symptom without 
addressing the cause. The archives are full of repeated 
detailed explanation of the mechanism.
