Well, got called to come give an estimate for repair/replacement. Get this, the movers (who move pianos all the time) couldn't figure out how to get the legs/lyre off, didn't have a skid or dolly, often slid the piano on it's spine to move it, moved it 250 miles with legs and lyre on, tried to lift the piano upright on its left leg........... Here's the worst of what greeted me. The question is, do you think a repair (wood glue or epoxy) would yield a sound repair, or do we really need to replace the leg on this "gorgeous" ;-] off-white Kimball Grand model 5103, #B44204. The leg appears to be made of maple (gandering into the cracks, here). I appreciate your input. Regards, William R.
