Bill, before everyone else says this, I will say it: "WHERE ARE YOU? " I can be there in 24 hours to service your piano.

Seriously, given my recent experience, are a 99.99 %-tile nice customer. Thanks for the reply. You aren't kidding, right?

Dave, as a client, when my tuner arrives, I:

    1) Ensure that TV, dishwasher, stereo, vaccuums, are off.
    2) Turn off the air conditioner
    3) Have previously arranged the appointment so that tuner is not there the same day that mower for my lawn or my neighbors is due.
    4) Pets confined to separate room on another floor for the duration.
    5) All "junk" (scores, lamps, etc.) removed from piano beforehand
    6) Printed list of any known problems present on the piano
    7) Coffee available (but that led to a disaster with previous tuner, who spilled the whole cup on the white carpet). At least it wasn't
on/in the piano, and the carpet cleaner got it all out.
Twill be interesting to see if someone comes up with your requested whimsical handout!
  Bill
