Jude-
Al Sanderson published a sheet with his scale formulas.  I found it easier to follow than Robert's book.  It's fairly easy to set up a spread sheet using the Sanderson equations.
Of course, since the Sandersons are now selling recalings, he may not be willing to share the information anymore.
But since you're in Dr. Al's neighborhood, you might start by asking him.
