SImply remove the hinge pin and retaining screw and the lever will drop down. Clean the surfaces and apply lube (if leaf spring), a coil spring may need new bushing material in the holes. Make certain it's not the tray return spring. Lube the ends of the pitman while you're at it. -- Regards, Jon Page
