That was certainly my experience. Out of round, tapered top to 
bottom, or bottom to top, and ranging + - 0.003" or more from 
one to the next, depending on where you measured. The current 
cut thread stuff is much more uniform. It's been a long time 
since I had to mic and sort a set.
