CA glue and pinblock cracks

I have a customer with an old, (1907), Ivers & Pond baby grand. The pinblock
appears to have been doped at one time and, predictably, is now exhibiting
loose pins again. Is it possible to do a successful CA treatment on a
pinblock that has been previously doped?
