Thumb injury - Has this happened to you?

Michelle, I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like a slightly 
pinched nerve. If it's only your thumb, then it sounds 
pretty isolated.

I've had the same thing happen to me..only more frequently, 
and my problem is worse than I'm describing.
