Plate Removal & Spraying

Hi Dean and others,
Sorry for the delay replying, but I can check my email thru web mail but
can't reply unless I'm in the shop because of spam software on our server. I
checked Tremclad web site and their product is only available in Canada. For
gold paint I use gold automotive touch up paint in spray cans. I find a
pleasing color at the hardware store. I have sprayed the Mohawk piano gold
but you have to be careful and make sure the plate is perfectly clean.

I have used gold spray paint and then top coated with Tremclad Clear in
spray cans. Allow 72 hours before you top coat. This allows the gold to
fully cure. The Tremclad provides a nice finish coat.
