The only added labor is while removing and reinstalling the stack and that is not that difficult once you get the hang of it. It's like any tedious task, once you put your mind to it, it's a snap. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. I like the feel of an action with this direct linkage and I really like the Schwander style wippens which are no longer available. You'd be better off mastering this action than to change it for changes sake. Schwander wips with assist springs ....if you don't want them, I'll take 'em. Besides the stickers are the least of your problems with all that back lead. Someone got it there who 'thought' they knew what hey were doing, don't compound the problems. If you are not familiar with touchweight issues, find someone.
