Tiny pieces in butts: Hide glue vs Aileen's

I like "Aileen's Tacky Glue" to glue felt. It's just
as fast as hide glue, stinks less, dries clear,
requires no preparation, carries no chance of giving
you prion diseases ( but a bit of cancer--it's a
thick PVCE - you might want to keep it off your skin )
and is available at fabric stores, cheap.

     Peace,
     G

P.S. Perhaps one could also save, wash, and re-use the
old pieces, which are rarely worn out, or moth damaged
? On this I&P upright, one bit is thick red keybushing
felt, the other, thin white action cloth.
( Who is selling this latter stuff, now, please ? )
