I always tell people: when you buy a used car, you take along a car mechanic. When you buy a used piano, you take along a piano mechanic. It's that simple. But people think they know it all. I wish I had a tiny fraction of all the money that people waste each year buying junk pianos because the buyers were stupid enough to bring along their PIANO TEACHER and not a qualified technician!
