I normally make a bit of light of it and say that I am not safe with
anything breakable, so I just don't even touch such things.......  People
are quite glad to do the moving themselves.

Another reason to have the customer clear the top themselves is that is if
the tuner drops it, the tuner is liable for the replacment cost. And some of
these things are irreplaceable antiques. I hate'd to tell you how I found
out about that little bit of bad news.
