The squeaky wheel (or piano) gets the grease, right? I forwarded some of
our Pianotek correspondence to Edwards String Covers and got an answer
within an hour. I'm including their response below; not to start
arguments-just to let you know that the Pianotek group has influence.

Take care and thanks to those who responded on this issue.

  Michelle,

I'm not sure why you haven't had a response yet, but I'm attaching the
current wholesale price list to this e-mail for your records..our contact
information is below. We have been making these covers for 20 years,

the difference in ours from others is the fact that they are made from
specific patterns, they are not generic. We have collected over 800
patterns now, so just about any piano you need a cover for, no matter how
old, you can have a cover made specifically for that piano. It has been our
experience that most people want something beautiful and correctly fitting
on their piano, or they won't use it. Because they are not generic, we
make them to order. I'll be happy to send you the sample kit, which
includes the samples of our material and brochures, etc.,I just need an
address.

As to the comments you've forwarded, we have never taken 3 months to ship an
order. The time constraints around making something custom is certainly
more than something generic, I think that is understandable.

I import the wool that we use...there is nothing domestically made of the
same quality as what we use, believe me I would know about it...I hope you
have an opportunity to compare ours with the other, you'll see and feel a
big difference.

Once again I'm sorry you've had trouble contacting us, our name is used in a
lot of other Technician web sites, and I know this causes some problems.
The e-mail address is the best form of direct communication. Leave me your
address, I'll put the kit in the mail, Thanx, Judi

Hello! My name is Michelle Smith and I have been trying to contact your
business for quite a while. Below is some of the correspondence that is
going on at the Pianotek e-mail list. I have heard good things about your
string covers and would like to place an order but I can't do that if
someone doesn't send me a price list and contact info. Thanks for any help
you can provide.
