Wow! More comic relief

I've almost always moved things from and back--even pull the piano out from
the wall a bit if they ask--my dad showed me how to use my legs for that
when I was little.....

BUT! I sure did refuse last year when a guy asked me to help him move the
tall upright across the carpeted (white) living room floor! I think the
customer was disappointed the store sent a 60-year old woman out to tune the
piano...........(but that didn' stop him asking!)

Moving a few things including music books takes so little time and it is a
customer service (which is lacking in so many professions).  I do ask for
help from the client to move anything breakable.

I also replace non breakable items after tuning and have even been known to
move a piano a little.  Perhaps this is why my fees are $10 higher than
other tuner/techs and why I am always busy.
