    Hi Jesse:
    I had this happen once on an older upright.  I found the bridge had actually parted company with the soundboard at its end.  Take a feeler guage and see if there is a gap between the bridge and soundboard, it might be tiny but enough to create the problem.  Its a long shot, but worth a look.
