Yoke!!! I had one situation where the unhappy half took wire cutters and cut about 6 strings in the tenor section of an almost brand new Kawai KG-2 quite a while ago. At least this was repairable. I don't know about the eggs. Just thinking about the smell makes me want to throw up more stuff into that piano. ;-) Marcel Carey -----Message d'origine----- De : pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] De la part de Michelle Smith Envoyé : 19 février 2007 13:58 À : 'Pianotech List' Objet : Anything but the piano! I have now heard it all. A guy just called me and said he and his wife got a divorce. Must have been an ugly one because she cracked three raw eggs in their Yamaha upright! Im guessing the eggs have been there for a while because the house is currently vacant. He wants to sell the piano and some of the keys are not functioning. Yuck! Any guesses on what Im going to find when I open the thing up to commence cleaning?
