Speaking of Falcone...

I was marginally successful at tuning a 2+ yr-old Falcone GF-62. I say
marginally because the white keys of about the middle three octaves or so
all bobbled on the strings. No letoff, no drop. Tried to adjust letoff/drop
to no avail. Pulled the action. Hammers are properly slightly off the rail
in the back. Just for giggles tried removing the felt front-rail punching to
give it more aftertouch. Still no letoff, no drop. Had to get going to next
appt and didn't have punchings with me anyway, but observed that the white
keys were not as high at the center rail... like this:

 _ _ - _ - _ _ - _ - _ - _ _ - _ - _ _ - _ - _ - _ _ -

Do other listers have any ideas? Would adding CR punchings possibly/probably
help? The church is near-desperate for this PSO to be tip-top by Palm
Sunday!

Thanks!
Paul
