Dear Phil,

here is an easy fix:

1) Gently lift action from piano
2) Gently place on top of a fully ignited bonfire

(just kidding, of course Phil - I think your repair sounds fine)

Subject: Kimball La Petite Clicking

The Kimball "La Petite" grand has a unique petite action which tends to click due to the jack regulating screw hitting a cushion of artifical leather. I have one of these to repair, and was planning to use buckskin to replace this leather. Has anyone any other suggestions for this repair?
