Kimball La Petite Clicking

Your biggest problem is that it is a "Kimball La Petite" - nuf said.
Other than those hideous Kincaid "Grand" brand spinets and consoles I can't
think of any other American piano that was such a waste of lumber. I think
they should have named them a Kimball "Why Bother?". I can tell you from
experience there is no way you will ever get one to "perform". If you can
get them to play at all, clicks or not, I would leave it alone. Lubricating
the knuckles with a light coat of teflon powder is probably the only thing
economically worth doing.

One well respected person in our industry I will preserve nameless fondly
refers to these as a "La Pashit".
