It looks kinda like an electrical outlet, but it's not. This piano has four of these: two inside the rim like the one in the pic, and two on the rim on the UNDERSIDE of the piano. There is one two-lead electrical wire running in series through all four of them, but no tag lead hanging off from either end that would suggest hooking them up to something else. Weird.
