Dear Fellow Technicians, I was honored to have played a roll in the 07 Cal State Conf in San Francisco Feb 8-11. My roll as exhibit hall director took me way out of my usual skill set and comfort zone, but in the end helped me grow and build relationships with in our industry. I'd like to take this opportunity to single out one individual who went way above and beyond his role in the convention. This person is long distance piano mover extraordinaire: Lowell Trecartin Green Mountain Piano 181 South Main Street Barre, Vermont 05641 866-684-1241 FAX 802-476-5333 www.greenmountainpiano.com Lowell worked his tail off for us, and he was not part of any committee, he simply saw a need and went to work, with incredible expertise I might add, moving pianos and helping out anyway he could, asking for nothing in return but to help insure a smooth running conference. If you find yourself in need of his services you all have my personal recommendation of a highly skilled and motivated craftsman. I have listed his contact information here for your convenience. I would expect others who saw him in action and benefited from his help to add to this thread. He deserves a thank you from our industry. Lowell was part of Oak Tree Piano and the Steingraeber exhibit. Fenton Murray, RPT www.MurraysPianoTuning.com
